3. ZIP ACROSS LAKE TRAVIS

Are you ready for an adventure of a lifetime? Located just about 20 minutes away from Cedar Park, Lake Travis Zipline Adventures provides an active outdoor adventure that is fun for people of all ages. Lake Travis Zipline Adventures offers five ziplines; the last three lines are the longest and fastest ziplines in Texas. Your zipline ticket also includes access to a Private Beach where you can picnic, swim, play games or relax in one of their hammocks.

4. MAKE A SPLASH

Splash in to the Splash Shack for year round fun out of the sun. The Splash Shack is an indoor, micro-waterpark designed for the young and young at heart to slide, spray and play all day. The-first-of-its-kind waterpark houses an 8,000 square foot, 30-foot-tall interactive water play structure. Plus, with a temperature set to 82 degrees, it feels like summer even in the middle of winter. So leave the sunscreen behind and soak up the summer vibes, indoors.  

5. ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS

The Brushy Creek Trail is a 6.75 mile trail with extensive landscaping and scenic views to enjoy. The trail has six parks which lie along it, which provide many different amenities accessible to walkers, runners and bikers. Together, the parks have a collaboration of splash pads, swimming areas, climbing rocks, fishing docks, canoeing and kayaking, disc golf, restrooms and multiple picnic and pavilion areas.  

6. OUTDOOR ART

The Cedar Park Sculpture Garden features a unique collection of sculptures from Texas based artists. The collection is located next to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. The artwork varies in medium and rotates annually, so there is always a different sculpture to appreciate. The sculptures are interspersed throughout walking trails and beautiful landscaping to provide a fitting backdrop for these works of art. 

7. SAMPLE A LOCAL CRAFT BREW 

Cedar Park is serving up local libations and craft brews that will have you staying for more thirst-quenching beverages. Whether you enjoy a glass of wine, a pint of beer, or a cup of coffee, there’s a drink perfect for you in Cedar Park. 

8. LAKE TRAVIS 

Enjoy some outdoor fun and relaxation on the water. Lake Travis is about 10 miles from Cedar Park and worth the drive. This scenic lake spans just over 62 miles and has a relatively moderate climate year-round.
