Economic Development

The Economic Development and Tourism Department serves an integral role in creating quality of place for the City of Cedar Park.  These are the physical characteristics of a community, the way it is planned, designed, developed and maintained, that affect the quality of life of people living, working and visiting it both now and in the future. The department also works to help promote and sustain Cedar Park businesses through a variety of mechanisms.

 

As the third largest city in the Austin metropolitan area, Cedar Park is a fundamental part of the rapid growth and burgeoning prosperity of Central Texas and Williamson County.  Cedar Park is widely known for its excellent schools, a pro-business environment, and quality of life. We are consistently named one of the top places in the U.S. to raise a family due to our abundance of amenities, relaxed lifestyle, and our commitment to community and effective government.
