The Bell District
Building upon a foundation of strategic growth and decades of dedication from our city leaders, The Bell District stands as the premier realization of Cedar Park’s future. This transformative project is more than a development; it is the heartbeat of our community’s revitalization. Through a landmark public/private partnership between the City of Cedar Park and RedLeaf, we are turning the historic Bell Boulevard corridor into a world-class, walkable destination that honors our past while welcoming a new era of modern hospitality and premier entertainment.
To better understand how this vision is being brought to life, the following map illustrates the specific sectioning and master plan for The Bell District.

The Marketplace: Restaurants, Retail & Social Life
The Bell District is anchored by a curated mix of dining and retail partners, bringing together the upscale experiences Cedar Park wants in its own backyard. With more than 60,000 square feet of retail and neighborhood commercial space, The Marketplace at Bell provides a daytime getaway and a nighttime escape for visitors and residents alike. The district has already come alive with signature programming that defines the local culture. Residents and visitors alike can spend their Saturday mornings at the Texas Farmers’ Market at Bell, which hosts over 90 local vendors and live music. The energy continues throughout the week as neighbors participate in morning yoga in the park or gather for The Backyard Sessions which is vibrant evening event featuring live music, food trucks, and a variety of outdoor activities. These sessions center around a sprawling green space shaded by 100-year-old heritage pecan trees, while high-density residential blocks with ground-floor retail offer local favorites and familiar shopping options just steps away.
The Civic Core: Our Award-Winning Library
The crown jewel of the district is the new Cedar Park Public Library, which opened its doors in November 2024. Designed to serve as our "civic living room," this 47,000-square-foot facility has quickly become a statewide benchmark for excellence. Since its opening, the library has earned the prestigious ULI Austin "Best Public Place" award and the TMLA Achievement of Excellence in Libraries Award, placing it in the top 20% of all public libraries in Texas. Demonstrating a deep commitment to the future and sustainability, the facility has also earned LEED Gold Certification. This landmark building is seamlessly integrated into a 16-acre park system connected to The Trails at Bell, a lush network that weaves through the development to connect the urban core with the natural beauty of Cedar Park.
The Residences at Bell
Gather, host, and reimagine life in Cedar Park with a residential experience that balances urban energy with suburban comfort. The Residences at Bell offer a sophisticated blend of high-density housing and classic brownstones for those seeking a personalized living environment and a relaxed lifestyle. Phase 1 of the development includes two primary residential buildings paired with ground-floor retail and cafe spaces. This intentional design extends the district’s abundant amenities and parklands directly to the residents' doorsteps, allowing the surrounding natural environment to serve as an extended front yard.
The Offices at Bell
Looking toward the next stage of growth, Phase 2 of the district will introduce approximately 150,000 square feet of Class A office space on the north side of the development. Situated with immediate access to 183 and 183A, these offices offer a competitive edge for businesses by placing modern workspace just steps away from the finest recreation and dining in Central Texas. Bringing your business to The Offices at Bell allows productivity and culture to soar in a setting that is uniquely Cedar Park.
