Photo Op At Heritage Oak Park

Don’t miss out on Santa’s Sleigh St Heritage Oak Park. This come-and-go photo opportunity will be happening December 4 – January 3. Bring your family and walk around Heritage Oak Park and see the tree lit with thousands of twinkly lights. Santa’s sleigh will be setup and ready for your backdrop! Make sure to keep socially distant if there are any other people present.

THE NORTH POLE FLYER

Take a day trip to the town of Burnet, just 30 minutes away from Cedar Park and board The North Pole Flyer. This excursion on a vintage train features a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, plenty of hot cocoa and a yummy Christmas cookie. Each train car is decorated for the season and passengers can enjoy a live reading of the North Pole Flyer book read by one of Santa’s elves. This special edition train ride starts November 28 and runs every weekend until December 6. This ride is 2 hours and departs from the historic 1912 Bertram Depot in Bertram, TX. 

Know Before you go! The North Pole Flyer has made some changes this year to keep everything safe and socially distanced. Seating is VERY limited, with a limited number of trains being run. Visit their FAQ page to learn about the new format and activities.

NORTHERN LIGHTS HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR

The inaugural Toyota of Cedar Park Northern Lights Holiday Spectacular is kicking off Saturday December 5th. Guests will be able to drive through the trail from December 5, 2020 – December 31, 2020 and can choose ticket types based on their preferred date, and movie preference.

The socially distanced experience will feature vibrant drive thru lighting displays as well as a different Holiday movie screening each night and a fun double feature on weekends.

Food, drinks and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase directly from your smart phone and served to your car during each movie. All you have to do is scan your QR code that will be by your car, order and let us do the rest!

Bring your chairs, blankets and relax in your own 8×12 space by your car to enjoy the movie.

NUTCRACKER ON ICE

Calling all mice, toy soldiers, snowflakes, and sugar plums! Chaparral Ice presents The Nutcracker On Ice at the spectacular Crossover in Cedar Park, Texas! Join us as a cast of 60 skaters take the ice for a night of magic, music, pageantry and excitement! Friday and Saturday, December 11-12.

Know Before you go! All guests age 3 and up must wear a mask or face covering at all times while at Chaparral Ice. All guests will be temperature checked upon entry. On-ice and rink-side seating will be spaced for social distancing. For general admission bleacher seating, guests are required to leave two empty seats between family groups in general admission seating. Any guest who occupies a seat must have a ticket, regardless of age. Children age 5 and under may sit in a parent’s lap at no charge.

The holiday shopping season is upon us. Cedar Park has two major shopping centers – The Parke and 1890 Ranch. Both shopping centers have big-name department stores, restaurants, salons, fitness centers and more. Plus, most major retailers are offering online and curbside pickup.  If you’re looking to shop for a local and unique item that you can’t find anywhere else, Cedar Park also has many boutique and specialty shops such as Ruby Keys BoutiqueBeau Kisses, and Honey & Hay Home to name a few. If that isn’t enough, we’re just three miles away from Lakeline Mall.  With so many options, shopping in Cedar Park should definitely be on the itinerary.

A CHOCOLATE WONDERLAND

Cedar Park has some amazing chocolatiers that produce the most delectable confections. Get a box of chocolate from Delysia Chocolatier. Delysia offers online shopping and virtual chocolate tastings. Don’t miss  their Virtual Visit with Santa event on December 13 – Join Delysia Chocolatier for a virtual ‘Visit with Santa’ as the jolly fella spends time with all good girls and boys in a unique chocolate experience. Start your night with an expertly crafted, chocolate ornament and decorate it with edible markers included in your package. Listen as Santa reads a Holiday-themed story and finish the night with Santa listening to your wish list for Christmas.

Another chocolatier to check out is Ecuadorian Chocolate Factory. If you are a fan of dark chocolate, then this is the place for you. Their dark chocolate bars are out of this world and will make the perfect stocking stuffer or midnight snack 😉 Ecuadorian chocolate factory uses cacao beans straight from their family-owned farm in Ecuador, then processes the chocolate right here in Cedar Park. You can order the bars online and get them shipped anywhere in the US.
