A couple of barre studios to check out are Omnibarre and Pure Barre. Both studios offer introductory classes or drop-in classes. This studio is located within The Parke shopping plaza, so you can reward yourself with a little shopping and dining after a great workout.

If you are looking to get your heart rate up, look no further than Cyclebar, Bloc Cycle, or the recently opened Starcycle. Each location offers a fun and inviting atmosphere and welcomes visitors. Make sure and register online before you go as classes fill up quickly. If you’ve never been to a cycling class before, don’t feel intimidated. These classes offer cycling shoes for rent and knowledgeable instructors to show you the way.


The perfect way to de-stress when you are on vacation. Flow Yoga created a yoga studio that is casual, open and inviting. Flow Yoga offers the widest selection of classes from beginner to advanced, heated classes and special events. There is something for everyone at this yoga studio and single, drop-in classes are available.

The Cedar Park Recreation Center is a 47,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility houses two full court gymnasiums, cardio/weight workout areas, group exercise rooms, meeting rooms, game rooms, babysitting room, arts & crafts room, and an elevated walking/jogging track. Activities are offered year-round for children and adults. No membership needed, day rates apply. You can also sign up for a class that might interest you like tai chi, pickleball, dance fitness and more.

There’s nothing better then going outside for a nice jog or hike, so head to Brushy Creek Lake Park and explore the trails. This 89 acre park has plenty of space to explore, plus a lake for kayaking or stand up paddle boarding (rentals are available). If you are feeling more adventurous, you can check out Brushy Creek Sports Park, which is adjacent to Brushy Creek Lake Park. This sports park has 54 acres of space for basketball, baseball, disc golf and a skateboarding park.

Grab a smoothie at Juiceland inside of Whole Foods Market 365. After your smoothie fix, stroll through the shops at The Parke shopping center. Another great place to try is Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They offer bold, flavorful smoothies as well as toasted wraps, flatbreads and more.

For a different take on a smoothie, try an Acai bowl at Vitality Bowls. These bowls are made up of a  smoothie base then it’s topped with fresh fruit, granola, honey, etc. There are so many combinations to try and they are all delicious.
